“The Leadership Journey is a program that does not focus on the traditional approach to leadership skills: “you need to do this to be a better leader.” Rather, it focuses on the preferences that a leader has for leading, listening, managing conflict, and developing personal relationships.
It identifies the strengths and the weakness of those preferences, and provides suggestions on how to minimize each weakness, and how to NOT overuse each strength (which would result in a weakness!). It’s very insightful for resources that have very little time to reflect on how they perceive others, or are being perceived by coworkers.”

“As with most things in life, too much of a good thing could be bad. This experience, this Journey, has helped me open my eyes to the way others perceive my actions. Being task oriented is good for reaching goals, but can prevent time for understanding other’s needs. I’ve learned that slowing down to better listen and understand others is NOT the same as stopping progress, just the opposite, it allows for better collaboration and team building, allowing goals to be reached in a better way.”
